What are the prerequisites?
Technical qualification or trade credentials, minimum 3 years Ex installation experience, and IECEx Module 001 certification. A reasonable standard of English is required.
Is IECEx 001 mandatory?
Yes. IECEx Module 001 must be attained before IECEx 004, 007 & 008 certificates can be awarded. Infinity Skills offers IECEx 001 training at infinityskillshealthcare.ae.
Is there a practical assessment component?
No. This is a theory-only course. Assessment points are integrated throughout the training with no practical elements required.
What is the EUTEX E-learning platform?
EUTEX is an accredited e-learning initiative through which the blended learning content for this course is delivered. Candidates must enroll in and complete the relevant module before sitting the assessment.
Is the certificate internationally recognized?
Yes. Accepted globally by operators, regulators, and project owners under IEC 60079 standards.
